How any times have you had it in front of you and you just missed. You knew you had the skills. You knew you had the right offer. You knew that the person was open to it. And ya just missed! It is amazing because this is the most common issue I believe in the ever so prominent world of lack of success.
What is it? What do you mean? We as human beings generally will blame some external influence on our lack of success in whatever we are trying to get (it if you will).
If we are dealing with other people we will blame them. It was their lack of insight. It was the weather that day. It was not meant to be. They were having a bad day so they were not open to what I was offering. They are too short and could not hear me properly. They were too tall so they must have had altitude issues with their ears that day. You laugh…but that is about the reality of the situation. We are blamers. We fail to look inside and see what the real issue is.
Let’s do that for a moment. What do you say?
I could just say excuses are real and you have to just move on and go go go but that would kind of ruin the whole idea of helping someone figure IT out ☺!
So we get to the point. No matter what it is that you want or what it is that you are going to attempt to get. No matter the time, the place, or the person you have to have some kind of fire. You cannot approach someone with a business or some kind of request that requires them to give you something in return without being compelling in some manner in how or what you are offering.
There are so many different ways to look at this and accomplish feeling the fire. It just takes a little bit of thought, which is something that we often forego in times of action. Please don’t get confused here. Thinking and thinking and thinking will get you nowhere. It is often that which hinders your progress as a lot of people think and never do. Thinking is essential to doing though. Please just don’t over think. Now that you are all twisted up let’s move on.
The process of thinking in this case is what will get you what you want as it will be the founder of the fire. Let me give you an example. I will use me ☺
My company has close to 20 products right now. The products are all very solid as is the opportunity to make a lot of money because of these products. So right there I have two different broad approaches or areas of interest that I can examine. Ok, So I have two approaches just like anyone else in the company, right! If that is the case why am I successful and others not if we have the same opportunity? It has to do with how and what kind of approach I take. For some I will approach in a total product spiel and others a total business opportunity outlook. Inside each of these categories is where I find my fire. You should be able to see that this is not tough and you can apply whatever frame of thought I am using to whatever it is you are trying to achieve in your own respective life/opportunity.
A Few types of FIRE:
When I first joined my company I was very excited. I had a fire about me that was natural and when I approached someone about the company they could see that. Not one of my approaches was a matter of fact approach and if the person that I was talking to had any interest whatsoever they were going to be over the line if I had anything to do with it. I had the fire of NEWNESS. So many people have this for a while and have good success using it but soon enough that wears off. That is not bad. It is a reality. The problem is that people don’t realize that their success was due to the fire that they showed. Sure that fire cannot exist if the company is not strong but the fact does remain that it is all about you in the end. So many allow the fire to disappear and so does their business in the long run. Their approach becomes dull. The products are still the same as they were when they first got started but there success is not. Still people blame the company instead of looking intrinsically. THINK about it.
What one should do is realize that there are so many other ways to get the fire back. You have to be excited about something in order to succeed in my mind and people have to see that. You can’t be nonchalant. It does not work. Those are the facts! Remember I said I have two arenas that I can approach people about. I am sure you could find yourself to have the same situation if not more areas of interest. If you have more it just means that there are more ways to find fire. So in essence less and less excuses for success.
Business Opportunity (AKA: The Money):
From the business opportunity stand point you might look at expansion into different markets. That is a fire point for sure. You can go as small as “We are literally just expanding into this city and we are looking for leaders. The city is wide open literally and a lot of money is available to the leaders that want to be responsible for all of the growth.” That is exciting and is real. When you speak with someone you have a fire that you show in the offer. People know that you are serious and there is something different about what you are talking about. It is real. You are not lying and the reality of the situation is that when you look at successful network marketing companies a few key leaders own every major city. When you have that opening to offer you have a fire that can fill your eyes like no other.
If your company just expanded into another country that is another wonderful fire point. When you make your approach you might be talking about the strength and opportunity that comes when a company expands into a new country/market (which presents in itself time zone leverage). The focus is the fire that it gives you in your offer. The tangible nature of it…the idea that the person being offered can be that person is very exciting if you indeed make it so. Your opportunity may still be the same but your fire makes you someone that people want to accept from.
Ground floor can be enticing if properly portrayed (meaning a legitimate company that will be around for a long time with a great product or service). Your fire with this issue can create a great buzz and be very persuasive.
In the end you find something of excitement in the opportunity side of your company and you have a fire about you that is real/true when you make your offer. People have no doubt that they are going to be entering into business with a real winner if you are a constant fire finder. It makes their decision on our offer a lot easier to make.
Product Fire:
Product Fire is very simple. If you can’t get excited about your product you need to re-check what and why you are doing what you are currently doing. You have to be a proud user of your product or service in order to find such a fire if you are looking to achieve long-term success.
Success stories are the main source that can be a fire for you. A great example of product fire at hand is my father losing 17 pounds using one of my products. That to me was exciting and when I talk about that product you can bet your money that people are persuaded that that product works. Yet another is my pal is able to run again without joint pain. When I talk to anyone about that product you can bet that there is nothing nonchalant about it! There is a fire that brings people over the questionable hump because of an excitement that I always portray.
Another way to get the fire is when your company has a new product come out. The fact that they are expanding should tell you that they have the money to do so which is wonderful in terms of knowing how well your company is doing financially (a hidden perk…and certainly something that you can be VERY excited about). Secondly, the new product itself is something that you can be pumped about. We just came out with a product that is amazing for women and it gave me the fire to go after a new set of prospects that I never even thought of before. My approach is with the same company but I have a new fire for what I am talking about and people feel it when I talk about my new product. It is never matter of fact.
As you can see I believe in the human touch of a person. I believe that we all have the ability to find the fire in ourselves at all times. I believe that you have it in you. I know the answer to the age-old question of why some people are successful while others are not. It is because they found a way to keep finding the fire young gun. Find the fire over and over. Do not take any approach or ever offer what you have just out of habit. Make each offer dynamic and have a fire about you that cannot be stopped and you too can be a success story!
To your Success
Young guns always wanted
